As Secretary to the main committee, I arrange meetings, venues, etc, and record actions from meetings. With regards to membership Services I liaise with the ECB and Leagues keeping everyone as up-to-date as possible with the status of all members.

During a difficult period in my life, I was advised to seek a replacement for the team game I had moved away from, i.e. I had stopped playing cricket, so umpiring was the logical step. It has helped me so much for the past 15 years.

I enjoy being involved in a game that has given me so many friends, memories and life skills along a long journey. It is a joy to be involved in a “team” with fellow umpires.
